AMC was holding a contest last month allowing fans to submit videos describing how they’d react if they lost The Walking Dead for a chance to win $4000. The good people over at Zombie Go Boom submitted what I thought was a really cool, well done video. Unfortunately, AMC thought otherwise. They deemed it “Poor taste, inappropriate or could be viewed as being offensive.”
I don’t really know what they’re talking about. I don’t see anything that would be offensive (except maybe offensive to Dish Network… but who cares?). AMC, this decision was in bad taste. I know you’re probably just trying to cover your ass, but isn’t this basically exactly what you asked for? Come on… this is in response to the whole Dish Network fiasco that led to AMC being dropped from the Dish lineup.
